Coach Shuaibu Amodu, Chief Coach of the super Eagles should be given a lot of credit for feeling the pulse of the nation at key times during the selection process for the few places available in the super eagles and choosing the appropriate time toinject fresh players in the mix. Coach Shuaibu has invited Nigeria’s junior internationals at U17 level to join the Nigerian squad that is preparing for the Nations cup in Angola. Players like Sani Emmanuel, Stanley Okoro and Azeez Balogun have deserved their call up. Their chances of making the final squad some commentators have said are very slim but we’re hopeful at Clique sports that a couple of these young lads can squeeze into the final team and justify their inclusion.
